There will be a lot of celebrating this weekend as Kerem Kalpakci, Nikhil Gheewala, Chris Durst, Chris Lin, Eric Kim, and Jit Nandi walk in Commencement. Kerem, Nikhil, and Chris all got PhDs within the last year and are all headed to various aspects of the medical device industry. Eric is earning a BS in Bioengineering and starting medical school in the fall. Eric, you could not have impressed us more if you tried!! Chris is earning a BS in Biochemistry and Cell Biology as well as a BA in Architecture. She will spend next year applying to med school and continuing to perform research. Chris, we’ll miss your art skills and laughter! Jit is also a new BS in Biochemistry and Cell Biology and going to med school in the fall. Jit has worked in the lab for 4 years, has helped practically every single person in the lab, and will be missed more than words can express. Congratulations to all of you!!
